    TORSION BAR PLUG?

There is a hex shaped plastic (nylon?) piece that is maybe 1/8 inch thick over the end of the torsion bar. It almost looks like it could be cut out of a plastic coffee can lid. The ones I have seen were originally white or off-white. I will try to find one to get a picture of it. Honestly, I...

1973 Disk brake conversion on a 1965 Fury

If I recall correctly, I got everything for my conversion from a 73 Monaco (?), it was a full size Dodge, at any rate and I believe I used hoses from the 73 (but new replacement, of course). I will need to see if I can find my notes. I did my conversion back in the 80's - before internet...

Mini Tubs for my 65 C-Body Sport Fury Convertible…

I have a 65 Sport Fury convertible that I drag raced extensively. It weighed 3920 lbs ready to go, without driver. I managed to remove about 300 pounds of weight since having it wieghed. This is a big block automatic car. I have run a best of 12.35 in the quarter mile in this car. I had to...

    65 Fury wheel recommendations pls

You will have no problems with those 15 x 7 wheels and 255-60x15 tires. I ran that same size tire/rim combo on my 65 Sport Fury and was even able to put the skirts on with no rubbing. I used to run an older style 15x7 cop rim on my Fury. It was one before they had slots. I had 15x5.5 truck...

    Parking brake bracket

If I am not mistaken, the bracket in the photo is an exhaust hanger mount.

C-body and D series trucks suspension parts Interchange?

I had a 72 D100 and I seem to recall that they parts do not interchange with 65-up C bodies.

    install or rebuild leaf springs

It isn't easy to get any of the individual parts used to assemble the leaf springs so, if they are in good shape, I would simply paint and install. jus sayin.....

    Poly Leafspring bushings?

When I put poly bushings on my 65 Fury, I used poly bushings made for a 68/69 Road Runner. Fit like a glove.

65 PLYMOUTH FURY LEAF SPRING BRACKET

I am unaware of anyone making the frame brackets, but I believe the shackles are the same as those used for B bodies. I have 68/69 B body springs on my 65 Fury, they were an exact replacement.

Cop wheels are only 15x7 unless they are custom.

    B body leadfs on a C body?

I compared my 65 sport fury leaves with a set from my brother's 68 road runner and they were exactly the same. So I bought a set of the B body XHD springs and put them on my 65 Fury. They have been on the car since 1984. Perfect fit.

    Cross-member ID & Interchangeability?

That looks like the original one I took out of my 65 Fury but I believe it could be other years as well. I am uncertain when they started using the newer style trans mounts.

    Cross-member ID & Interchangeability?

I upgraded my 65 Sport Fury (big block/automatic) from the factory trans cross member to one from a 73 Monaco (or Newport) way back in the 80's and it was a direct bolt in affair.

    Power Assist vs. Power Brakes

It is just marketing jargon. 'Power assist' and 'power' are one and the same.

sub frame connectors for a 1965 Plymouth fury 1 station wagon

Those look remarkably like the ones I made for my 65 Fury convertible (years ago). I couldn't find any 'made to fit' ones so I had to do it myself. Interesting that you put a set on a wagon. Those 65 Fury wagons are huge. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more pics of it. (where are you located?)

I am pretty certain that you can swap over to the other caliper if you use the bracket that holds the caliper.

Max tire/wheel dimensions for 1966 Sport Fury?

I have a pair of P275-60R15 tires on a 15x8 aluminum rim on my 65 Sport Fury. Not certain what the offset is, they fit (it's tight) but without the skirts. I had the same size tire on a 15x7 cop rim under the car and the skirts would still go on. Hope this helps.

Lower ball joint bolts to spindle

Check to see if the bolts from your drum brake spindle will fit. If they do, you are golden.

    Manual Brake Conversion Anyone?

I went with the Volare Master cylinder because it looked more correct in a 1965 car.
