Thanks, looking at ‘68 300’s online my guess would be somewhere between 10-15% at the most. I guess we’ll never know the exact number for sure.

Just wondering how many '68 Chrysler 300's were made with factory center console? Not sure if there are any documented numbers produced, but just curious.

Replaced the fuel sending unit on my ‘68 300 today, and now have a functioning fuel gauge

Edelbrock 1406 in place and tuned, kick down linkage adjusted and 60 mile shake down cruise completed. I’m happy to inform you that all is well with my ‘68 300, and the engine performs just as I hoped. Thanks for all the feedback, now onward for the dual exhaust installation

Are AM/FM radios REALLY this expensive?

The knob actually matches the volume and tuner controls on my Multiplex AM/FM radio with 5 speakers. This was optional, so the thumb wheels would only be found on the standard setup

The knob is for the speaker balance (reverb) between front and rear speakers

Well to me this is more like a luxury cruiser than a street racer, as this is a big body vehicle. I do like the effortless driving of a big engine with a smooth turnkey carburetor more so than a carburetor that is temperamental to say the least. I guess it’s a matter of choice like always, and...

Is an adapter plate for the 1406 Edelbrock needed for the '68 Slab side, or would that only be for the later models to fit on the intake?

Was going to wait until the carburetor arrives to see if there are any linkage issues or not
