anyone rebuild a 4 gang window switch?

They do occasionally come up on E bay or on this forum, but in just about all cases they have not been rebuilt and are not in very good shape. That goes especially for the 4 gang switches as that is the one that has far and away the most use, especially the drivers door. If you contact Devin, he...

anyone rebuild a 4 gang window switch?

Power window switches are the bane of my existence. I only know of a couple of guys who rebuild these and one or both are members here. I finally had enough of stuttering windows and shipped my entire set off to Devin last week. I am ok with the price of the rebuild he quoted as this is a...

Power window 1968 Chrysler ** UPDATE**

As mentioned earlier, the motor spins but nothing else is in there! Where is the gear? Did you take it out or is all the black shrapnel the old gear and pucks? As mentioned in my comment earlier, it looks like someone replaced that motor or the internals at some time in the past. Please note...

    67 Fury engine wiring help

ClassicCarWiring.com. I was in the same situation as you, trying to patch together engine wiring harness after a fire. Ordered the large (I think about 20 x 30 inch) laminated wiring diagram for my 67 300. Color coded which is really nice not having to trace every color back and forth. The...

Power window 1968 Chrysler ** UPDATE**

Looks to me that someone has already removed that motor once, hence the rivet. Should be a screw holding the little cover plate on. While you have it out, take the cover plate off and check out the rest of the gears and pucks inside. Could be just enough shrapnel left to spin the outside gear...

    Wiring Harness connector straps.

Gentlemen, thanks for all your replies. I have gone through Quiery, no response, and many other sellers, and they are not the same as what I have. I have seen the ones that David Hill shows above and they are available but not really liking the look of them, for some reason. Lots of the right...

    Wiring Harness connector straps.

Hey all. Been looking all over the place for these type of straps. 67 Chrysler 300. About 3 inches or 3 1/4" long with the snap buttons both on one side. All the ones I find are one snap button on each side. Any help? As usual , much appreciated. C shaft.

Get a New Wiring Harness or use the old??

Question #1 - Getting close to the end on finishing the 67 300 drop top. As some of you know from my past posts, had an engine compartment fire many years ago, burnt right thru the firewall. In my unpacking of the many totes full of stuff in my garage, I found (trumpets blare!) a complete...
