Correct. Delco was the vendor for the search tune radios and they didn’t use thumbwheels. It has nothing to do with build date.

IT IS THE FLASHER SWITCH.

Not the flasher. “Is it the emergency flasher switch?” was my question. That part has four terminals and guess which colors the wires are.

It looks like four terminals, one of which has rotted off. Is it the emergency flasher switch? The colors on the wires seem to indicate such.
