Anyone try selling on a Hemings auction?

Been kinda slow. I’ve sold BaT and fleabay a few times and this looked like it might be good to try. They wrote the ad. Pics were a struggle being as it’s winter here. Clunky communications - I can’t message people until they message me. Have had two offline messages. One for a trade. One for...

Anyone try selling on a Hemings auction?

I subscribe to the mag, I’ve searched their site online for cars, never thought of them as an ‘auction’ site. Then I tripped over the auction site looking into posting an online ad.

I’ll bet someone here knows where to find...

This board is great! You nailed it. Many thanks. Shape and holes line up. I ordered it. Says ‘delivery by Jan 30’. I’ll update then. But here is where it gets creepy. As soon as I order it, eBay pops up a cold air intake NOS, for $14, shipping included. Clearly big data is in play here and I...

... a hood pad and cold air intake for my 77 T&C. Not finding much online. These formals can be tough to find parts for for sure.

It ran ok, but definitely suffering the effects of ethanol and likely not touched since the 80’s. A rebuild is on a couple hundred bucks and it will run like new

It will have a brand new interior next year to match. Found a factory-fresh floor this weekend.

I leave it open till the judges pass by and then typically close it unless I’m there and bored. Then I’ll open it for a while. In some cases like my 60 Fury, the engine bay is the show.

“Spark Control System” is good enough for the girls I go out with. Heck, she can’t even read!

Yeah baby! Keeping the air cleaner stock.

    While we’re under the hood...

I think that is the logical choice. What I haven’t heard is ‘everyone just cuts it off and seals it up’. I doubt this will ever go stock, but who knows. I will let the next owner decide in 20 yrs.

    While we’re under the hood...

I didn’t replace anything. Just found I all sitting here. This was converted a long time ago. I’m just thinking of what I can clean up. Maybe I’ll just tie them up with some zips and leave them tucked in there. I think my new module is what I tripped over on the inner fender.

    While we’re under the hood...

what does everyone do with the defunct Lean Burn ‘bay junk’? I still have the LB unit bolted on to the air cleaner and all the wiring intact. I was thinking of leaving the air cleaner whole for nostalgia, but should I cut out the terminals from the wiring harness? And while everything but the...

Anyone know where this vacuum hose comes from?

    Oozing is pretty freaky. Overheating?

Anyone know where this vacuum hose comes from?

Great. I found it. The worlds smallest vacuum hose. I found it earlier. It was sitting in the exhaust manifold. All melted. I thought it was a burnt wire. Figured it was something old and disconnected from the old Lean Burn. Clipped it off. well.... when I saw the comments above and found the...

Anyone know where this vacuum hose comes from?

This is on my 77 wagon. It is the Water Valve. Cleaning up the engine bay. Heater and AC have been working inspite of this hose being disconnected. FSM says that the line comes from under the dash from a vacuum switch but I can’t find where it passes through the firewall. Can’t find a vac hose...
