I was in Bowling Green Kentucky picking up a truck for Miami this morning where started my day. yesterday I was at the Petro Truck Stop in North Little Rock AR. coming home this morning was a somber ride.

In late 68 Mopar changed back to Hurst due to problems with the inland (to my understanding) I have 1 numbers matching 68 4spd convertible with the light, had not realized that my other Fury also had the same light. That is why I had the question. I'm almost home I will be checking my Manual's...

I understand that part, I guess that I am asking is if it has a reverse light on the dash that it came with the Hurst Shifter.

It must have been a real quick study, because the late model did come with the Hurst shifter.

That's what I heard but wasn't sure if the C Body's were the same.

I have 2 4spd Furys both have reverse lights on the dash, does that mean that they both had Hurst Shifter? I was told that the inland shifter car's did not have the reverse light.

That is why I agreed with the early comment about the fading and the tin might have fallen off

As you can see in this picture it is black and this 68 is from Canada with 8500 original miles and it is a slant 6 .

well I have 13 68 Furys and I have all 3 colors and I was puzzled as to why. My thoughts were that maybe they were made in different plants.
