Thanks guys for helping locating calipers. I was finally able to get my stuck caliper pistons out. What a task!! I have a couple caliper pistons on order. Last part I need to complete the drum to disc conversion. I'll be rebuilding the OEM calipers finally!

RA did the right thing. Got the correct replacement brake line today.

I loved my C5 'vert with 6 speed. Low, and with a wide rear end! lol Was a weekend toy for me. Curious what/if the convertible will look like. Didn't like the C6, C7 was nice. But still liked the C5 convertibles best. Can still get a nice C5 'vert in mid teens. I just don't have anymore room...

Gotta a email, and PP refund for the one, and only currently known left caliper to exist lol. Have a call, and email into The RamMan, see if what I have can be rebuilt. Costly I'm sure. Or if he has some already built, ready to ship. I can only get the pistons on the calipers to come out about...

Just got one of many shipments from them today for my drum to disc conversion. I got 2 Centric boxes with brake hoses....1 was correct, one Centric box had a Sunsong hose. Of course they don't have phone support. Opened a claim online, really no where to explain what happened or attach pics...

So all my drum to disc parts shipped from RA and ebay this morning....everything in stock. I'm running 15" Magnum 500 wheels. There is not a big cutout in these wheels. Wondering in you can actually see the calipers. Probably won't know until I mock them up, with wheels on. I was thinking about...

Ordered what I believe are all the additional parts for my drum to disc conversion. Tossed the idea around about using Dr Diff spindle sleeves, that way could of went with some Raybestos rotors for a '73 on up, but in the end, decided not to use the sleeves, and had to go with some Centric...

Took the 'Vert out to pickup my Friday night pizza. Hot out this way...hotter tomorrow. Researching the misc parts I need for my disc conversion.

Put on my rechromed mirrors, vent wings, and door handles. Surprised I remembered how to put all the guts back inside the doors! Also learned how to use the adjustment points on the window rails so everything lines up nice and tight and seals out the elements. Wish I could say I learned it...

I got my last issue too. On top of cover was a notice that this was my last issue...and to renew so I don't miss another issue! Right lol. Any remaining issues will roll over to Cycle World. They changed their format too. I don't like it!!

I heard something about that today. Thankfully I drive a F150 work truck, and never see the gas bill. Wife drives a hybrid, getting around 51mpg. My diesel gets around 11mpg city, 18 hwy. Only drive occasionally these days. Expedition is around 16city/21hwy.

Shocks all done front and rear. Long *** day! Also replaced all the lug nuts. PO had all locks and no key! Front left was LH thread, left rear was RH. Thought left would of been all LH thread. That added time to the day. And new/old floor mats!! Period correct I think. Wheels are 15x8 all...
