This is my 73 Imp, but the turn signal indicators function in the same way through the model years 1969-73. Notice that there is no indicators installed to the gauge cluster, so the only ones are on the front fenders.
So the problem is that the relay mentioned on the headline makes a clicking sound when the engine is not running, but the ignition key is turned to "on" and obviously the battery cables are attached.
The clicking is caused by an electric magnet inside the relay that turns the circuit off and...
There´s metallic plates inside the lock. Make sure that they are correctly aligned to allow the key to work properly and you may try penetrator. Any way, it still sounds like the time for changing the lock cylinder, IMO.
I have to replace the faulty limit switch on the headlight cover motor. The BSM is checked, but it has a 70 Chrysler 300 with different components. Does someone know, how to get the aforementioned motor out?
I have to give credit to Park as well. He has hard-to-find parts and sells them overseas quickly and the quality is just what is shown on the pictures.
