    Bilstein Shock Question

With the LCA intact, the bottom mounting loop didn't clear the control arm even when tilted outward from the car after removing the lower rubber bumper. I'd say close to half an inch when tilted and, logically, more when compressed straight up. The different front member could be the reason for...

    Bilstein Shock Question

The reason for that is not a difference in the valves, but a difference in the total length. The front shocks of Fuselage Imperials are shorter than what are designed for the other C-bodies and if I recall it correctly, we speak about 1-2". I replaced the front shocks of my 73 this winter and...

    Wheelcover Identification Help - Please

https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/dealerships/DealershipDataBook/1979/79-Volare_0010.jpg Looks like the premier wheel cover (14´´, code W13) of a 1976-79 Plymouth Volaré.

That must have been quite the sight.:)

    What is it

Do both of the rotors have right-hand threaded studs? If they do: 71-72 or 73, depending on the spindle. If they don't: 69-70.

    What is it

@zigs Please measure and post the bolt pattern of the brake rotors. 5x4.5`` = any from Plymouth Fury I to Chrysler New Yorker Brougham. 5x5`` = Imperial, either a 69-70 Crown or a LeBaron of the range posted above.

Get your Hankook Optimo H724 WW tires while you can!

I like the Trendsetter SE WWs. The size is of course 235/75-R15. PS. The previous tires were Cooper Lifeliner Classics in the same size and they were just as good, though they may be discontinued by now.

    67-69 (Imp) wheel covers

@Mr C Here´s one older pic, which shows that the wheels are not vented. This leads to a question about the wheels of 69 Imperials.

    67-69 (Imp) wheel covers

They´re now back on the wheels. The next Vantaa Cruising will show, if the wheel covers stay on or pop out.

    67-69 (Imp) wheel covers

Before the local gas station (Neste?) some miles away from Ace Corner. It went under an Audi, which was behind us, so the cover must be stout. No, all are now across the pond at Doc´s, but pics may help.

    67-69 (Imp) wheel covers

Has any other member had problems with the wheel covers of 67-69 Imperials? Mine do not sit flush on the wheels of my 73, so I would like to hear experiences about how well they (should) attach and possible tips as to how to get them installed snugly. Yesterday the right rear unit flew away...

    Steel Rims O.E. 14" X 7" with 5-4 1/2 Bolt Pattern 4 1/2" Backspacing

Locumob is correct, so Imps from 67 to 73 had the 5x5`` bolt pattern. 55-66 it was 5x5.5`` and 74-75 the common 5x4.5``. Other Mopars (excluding some As) had the 5x4.5`` BP during all those years.

    Lets make Sure-Brake great again

These instructions are on the jack cover panel: ``Disconnect`` because those show how to get the brakes to work as normal brakes, when a malfunction occurs.

No problem! Imperial is a whole different thing among other Mopars.

    Lets make Sure-Brake great again

First: I have no idea, someone has just cut metallic(?) hoses out. The system should stop operation on it´s own, if any malfunction occurs. Any Imperial from 67 to 73 is a hard one due to the brakes, because the bolt pattern is 5x5 instead of 5x4.5 (55-66 giant as 5x5.5), so unfortunately I...
