    Convertible Fury - 1970

I am seriously considering selling this car. With a new car in the garage, I just don't have space to work on it. I am going to get something smaller or a hardtop that can be outside. Please PM me if you are interested.

I love F8 green, but I am biased because it takes me back to the good old days when I drove this.

    Convertible Fury - 1970

Well, I pulled the trigger on a new Challenger. I sold the 1942 and am keeping the Fury. I think both will fit in the garage, with some reorganizing. That barn, and four others, are full of cars. I got to tour two of them over the weekend. Not a lot of Mopars, but there were a few old...

    Convertible Fury - 1970

I have the dual snorkel installed, along with the vacuum connection and the breather cap. The doors in the snorkels close when I turn it on and I think that is how it is supposed to work. I did the checks in the FSM for the PCV system. I have good suction from the PCV valve when removed and...

Maybe your're right Tobias. Spending that much on a car is quite a stretch though, so it feels wrong to park it outside. It's pretty wet here compared to Calgary. I wish my wife wanted a Hellcat!

The ripples are in the metal and go all around in a regular pattern. It is definitely a stamping issue, but I hope that doesn't mean it is not an original one. I confirmed that the sensor can go in either way. I had to remove it because it needs a new gasket. I just received an original...

    Convertible Fury - 1970

I measured the garage today. It is 210 inches wide and the door is 191 inches wide. The width of the Fury and a Challenger is 156 inches. Pretty tight. I have a couple air cleaner questions. I noticed tonight that the top has ripples all around it in a regular pattern. See pic below. Is that...

    Convertible Fury - 1970

It's more of a space issue than a money issue. It's technically a 2-car garage but to cram the Fury and a Challenger in there would eliminate almost all working space. I'm going to try to avoid selling tne Fury because I really enjoy working on it. The '42 is already on the market. 1942 Plymouth...

Does yours work with the wiper in the off position? Thanks for the help (and for not directing me to the wiring diagram in the FSM :))

    Convertible Fury - 1970

It's kind of hard to tell from this picture, but it is concave, like you would push on the bottom for one thing and the top for another, but it it is just a simple push in button? Does the wiper switch need to be in the on position for current to flow to the washer pump? Thx.

    Convertible Fury - 1970

I have my wiper fluid bottle and pump out of the car. I wanted to see if electricity gets to the motor so I connected a voltage meter to the wire and operated the washer switch. No juice. Do the wipers have to be on for the washer switch to work? The washer switch is kind of weird. Do you just...

Someone was selling hp manifolds with a stove. I asked if they would sell just the stove. They said no, but happened to have a second stove! If you are still looking, I have a lead on another one here locally.

Received a nice heat stove in the mail today. Things are coming together.

That would save having to worry about those vacuum thingees. Have you got a picture of the result?

I'll check it out. I've had great success with VHT products, and my wife is quite forgiving about the oven.

I am stoked to get this correct air cleaner in the mail today. It's in great shape except for a couple small dings on the edge of the lid. Now I have to figure out where all the vacuum connections go and decide on paint. I stopped at a powdercoat shop today. They have a black crinkle finish that...

Thanks! Is semigloss black or the crinkle finish that several have referred to?

Thank you. Do you mean that there is no decal - just black paint?

Yes, I used that to make sure I got the correct 1970 dual snorkel, but it only shows the graphics for a road runner.
