Just a heads-up on the gas tank, I'm fairly sure the situation for a '68 would be the same as what I experienced when I replaced mine, and that is there is a 4 vent tank for CAP (aka California emission equipped cars) vs. 2 for Federal emission cars. You probably knew that already though :)...
