Thank you.. the interior is decent but needs a door panel and window sliders for the driver door...and ... And... And.. I just got her painted. I hadn't realized how perfect the trim is on it. I have other projects so she doesn't get frequent attention.. for now I'm digging the times I drive her.

Got it!! It wasn't exactly the part pointed to above. But close. According to the diagram (thank you Boydsdodge) the offending part is number is 21. My guess is the pivot hole has deformed. When I open the gate far enough, I hear a pop and can see it shift. In order to close it, I have to help...

I soaked the door stop...in fact, it does move when I use my hand so it's not the culprit.....I'm so hesitant to remove the tailgate...I have friends for the heavy part...I just am afraid of a can of worms...
