    1967 Limousine.

Coachbuilder in the Sixties: 1967 Imperial Limo brochure on Dezo’s Garage website
  2. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    1967 Limousine.

That is neat! Interesting, though, that the front seat looks more like one from a Newport than an Imperial. I wonder how much of a Mopar following there is in the Philippines.

    72 Imperial Beer

As far as I can see, the latest online, present-tense references to ’72 Imperial (beer, that is) date from the mid-2010s. I’m guessing that it’s discontinued. Rats.

    Almost fits

Reminds me of my late partner's tale of her first and last Toyota. It was bought new (late 60's or early 70's IIRC) based on the glowing review in Consumer Reports. Knobs came off, the engine sometimes stalled out - and the auto tranny wigged out and would only go in reverse. On a highway. In a...

    Almost fits

Y2K Dodge Caravan fits in my garage just fine... '74 C-body wagon, not so much!

So I bought this one today.

Can't help but wonder what the outcome would've been had that dipshit joyrider had been driving an early 1990's Nissan Sentra (known as the Tsuru south of the border) instead (not saying that he deserved this):

    Why?.....just why?

Especially if it T-boned a Chevy Spark, Mitsu Mirage, etc., that pulled out in front of it (of course that airbag-less steering wheel would be hard on the Imperial driver's noggin, too).
  8. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    Why?.....just why?

I'll raise a glass, so to speak, for his skill. Although it looks like the love child of a normal '65 Imp and a first-gen T-Bird, it still manages to be easier on the eyes than any new ToyoLexus, Nissan Joke, etc.!
  9. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    Why?.....just why?

:mob: And for this red bastardization, I can imagine a portrait of a clown and the text altered to read among other things, "He earns his ridicule." What a lot of time and money thrown away to turn a vintage American land yacht into the world's biggest rocking horse. :(
  10. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

    Why?.....just why?

I'd like to have that flower car.
  11. Mid70's Chrysler Fanatic

So I bought this one today.

After seeing the photos, I wasn't surprised to read on that it was a Suburban that plowed into the Imperial.

    Interesting Imperial

More like rhinomegalic to my eyes! I wish the Dodge Boys had marketed a Coronet-derived ute to battle the El Camino/Ranchero. They could have called it the Dodge Amigo (coincidentally, Amigo in Spanish means the same thing as "Dakota" in Sioux). They did a decent job around the rear window...

    I feel like a 72 Imperial Dentist!!!

 Not to mention the passengers in all those damn self-driving Googlemobiles that supposedly will be taking over our highways! PS/Edit: I wonder if any of my local booze outlets carry 72Imp. (Other varieties from the same brewery: yes.)
