    Steering coupler found

The scary part to me is not that you jammed a piece of wood in there as a quick fix, but that you kept doing it long enough to become an expert in the technique.

    Constant 12v feed for distributor

At the BR is a common place to connect power for an electronic ignition system though. My Mopar ECU is powered from a tap off the BR. Heck, the Pertronix I on my other car is powered right off the coil, so that's after the BR under normal circumstances. (I didn't wire it that way, previous owner...

Help Identifing 65-66 Head Light Lens

1966 Chryslers didn't have glass headlight covers. You referring to '66 Imperials?

    Why?.....just why?

I found it. Quite the brochure. I don't believe I've seen this one before. A Man Meets His Match: Imperial for 1966 Here it is all together as a PDF on another site. http://dgv4.xr793.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/1966-Chrysler-Imperial-Prestige.pdf

Just curious, where/when is that ad from?

    Why?.....just why?

Yes I suppose. I'm sure yhey are intended to look like spare tires on the running boards or in the front fenders, such as on this 1938 Cadillac opera coupe.

    Why?.....just why?

Possibly the only one done by that coach builder company. This one certainly looks similar though.

    Why?.....just why?

There was a company that did those "opera coupe" conversions on the Cadillac Seville, but that's the first time I've seen it done to the competing Lincoln Versailles. However, I searched "lincoln versailles opera coupe" and google turned up a bunch of pictures of them too.

Maybe inside the continental cover it's got a box of weights? If it's a 65 Imperial then would've originally had a cable-shifted 727. My guess is they swapped a later 727 and just put a floor shifter in instead of trying to adapt the original column shifter.

What if? A Re-Design of our beloved 72 Imperial LeBaron

You You should see what he did to "improve" a DeLorean. Pickup trucks have more style.

What if? A Re-Design of our beloved 72 Imperial LeBaron

He made the front end look more like a 1967 Fury.

    59 Imperial Station Wagon

I think it looks like it was done by a coachbuilder that normally made hearses, not a Chrysler factory prototype. In one of the old pics on the page that @Jonas linked to above, you can see that it had 2 rows of seats, so the back would be too short to fit a coffin though. The roof slopes up...

Not your momma's regular Marie Callender potpie.

Well, you've certainly amassed the Imperial fleet. If it was up to me, I'd call the storage building the "Kuat Drive Yards". (That's a Star Wars pun, BTW. Kuat was the manufacturer of Star Destroyers for the Imperial Navy.)

Imperial Hauler/Dog Limo: WHITE RAM 2500 Laramie

The new diesels have a problem with additives to improve fuel lubricity? The low sulfur diesel is not kind to injectors. I put Power Service Diesel Kleen (silver bottle) in every tank, in my '94 and now in my '07 Cummins 5.9L.

    Road wheels for an Imperial

Those billet reproduction Cadillac Sabre wheels that @Carmine posted cost over $1000 each. I found a similar style from American Racing, their "Max Grundy VN478 Turbine" wheels look similar and may be a bit less pricey. Customize The VN478 Turbine! You can see pics of these wheels with on a...

    Road wheels for an Imperial

I know what Spyder wheels look like. I wanted to see how they'd look on an Imperial. :)

    Road wheels for an Imperial

If you have any pictures of that I'd like to see them. I think those wheels would look fantastic! I'm surprised nobody else in the aftermarket has offered their version of the Cadillac Sabre-style wheels.

    Imperial R.I.P.

Personally I like to see good looking cars on a calendar, not neglected hulks that are slowly being reclaimed by the earth.
