    1958 Plymouth Fury

That is very interesting information, thanks for the long post. However, when the topic comes up (which is does often on FB car forums), I'm still going to just continue to say that Christine is really a Belvedere. On the outside she looks exactly like a Belvedere and very much NOT like a Fury...

    Interesting article - 1957-1964 differences

I read about this before, but not on Curbside Classics website. They had a link to the article I saw, which has better pictures of the process: MARCH 2021: THE ORIGINAL TRANSFORMER—A 1964 DODGE 880 TRANSFORMED INTO A ’59 DODGE CUSTOM ROYAL

    Forward Look....Rocks glasses.

They probably brought you a glass sized to fit the bottle of beer because that's what you ordered. :) I usually only steal buy REAL pint glasses, but I already made one exception for the glass with the old-school Mopar logo on my automotive-themed shelf. If I had a Forward Look glass it would...

    Forward Look....Rocks glasses.

That's exactly the ones I would be looking for! I'm not about to pay $90 US + shipping for a pair of them however. @cretin90 Please try to add your comments before or after a quoted message, not into the middle of the quote. Otherwise the reader has to expand the quote and try to figure out...

There's also a set of rounded tumblers on eBay right now too. Rare Chrysler "Forward Look" Mid Century Modern Logo Roly Poly Barware Glasses | eBay I collect pint glasses. I'd love to find one of these tall beer glasses for my display case. At least I assume they're tall glasses based on the...

EFI conversion with long ram manifolds?

I always thought it would be cool to make a multi-point system using long rams. That would mean modifying them to add injector bungs and fuel rails, but would eliminate their inherent problems.

    6l Plymouth two face car

I am reminded of a story I read of the design of the 1965 Chrysler bumpers. The stylists designed the bumper shape. The Engineering Dept threw it back as not possible to stamp bumper-thickness steel in that shape. As the story goes, the situation resulted in a stylist working on the clay as an...

I see a stylist being artsy and an Engineer looking over his shoulder to make sure they can actually manufacture the thing!

Well yeah, TBH I'd prefer a hardtop over the sedan body too.

I have a 1966 Windsor sedan drivetrain donor* waiting for a car like this. I'd swap all the mechanicals over. I would also do a partial repaint to 2-tone it. *The 66 is an Ontario car with rotten body and frame, in case that's your issue, @Newport 66 .

    '56 DeSoto 4-door hardtop - Copart

Wow, the body looks complete and solid. Should be a relatively easy restoration. Good thing it's all the way on the other side of the continent! If it was local to me, I'd be trying to figure out how to hide it from my wife. ;)

Very Nice 1960 Desoto Adventurer 2 Door at What Might be a Very Reasonable Price

Beautiful, though I'm sure I would've liked it even better in the original red. I'll have to check back when the auction ends to see what it sold for.
