NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler Windsor 2 Dr HT 383 Auto $3,800 CAD ($2800 USD) also front C-body subframe Woodstock Ontario (Canada)

The seller is a good guy. We've done a fair bit of parts trading. He is selling some project cars and parts because he bought a couple other 1966 Chryslers that aren't such big projects. You can contact him through the Kijiji ad.

Sorry, for some reason I wasn't notified that I was tagged in this post (and I haven't been on the site much recently to see the post). That Windsor belonged to a friend of mine. It needed a lot of sheetmetal work to restore it. He has since sold it.

NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler newport $11,000

Where was this car 10 years ago? I could've bought this and saved myself 8 years and a bazillion dollars restoring mine!

    NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler 300 Convertible - $13,500 - Scotts Valley, California

There's a similar wrinkle on the drivers front wheel arch, but it's ahead of the wheel. That rust-through on the underside of the trunklid is odd. Could this be from the car living near the ocean for most of its life? I wonder what the undercarriage looks like.

NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler newport $123,456

Another picture from the ad on FB marketplace. I believe that is the remains of a buildsheet sandwiched between the front bumper bracket and frame rail. My convertible had one in the same location, but I didn't even know until I removed the front bumper because nothing was left of it that was...

NOT MINE 1958 Plymouth Belvedere 2dr Hardtop - $50,000 - Mission Viejo, California

What's wrong with the interior? The spots on the floormats are part of the (ugly) floormat, not dirt. I don't see anything else. Maybe my monitor is too small? :D

NOT MINE 1958 Plymouth Belvedere 2dr Hardtop - $50,000 - Mission Viejo, California

Wow that's clean! I bet the owner must get tired of hearing, "Paint it red like Christine!". Honestly though, beige paint with the silver side trim is a pretty boring combination. In some light the paint and trim look the same colour.

    NOT MINE '65 Canadian Monaco

In Canada the power steering pump and pulleys were attached to the engine before painting, so they all wound up red. The alternator bracket as well.

    NOT MINE '65 Canadian Monaco

Being originally a Canadian car, it's good to see that they kept the engine red instead of repainting it turquoise or orange. The brackets and pulleys were repainted black, but oh well.

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler New Yorker Town Sedan - $7,000 - Litchfield, Minnesota

Yes that car has power vent windows as well as power main windows. They were 2 separate options, available on all 1966 Chryslers.

NOT MINE 1965 Chrysler New Yorker Town Sedan - $7,000 - Litchfield, Minnesota

Looks nice, well optioned, probably a decent price. But "Triple Crown Package"? I suspect that's a term the owner made up.

NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler Newport Town Sedan - $6,000 - Federal Way, Washington

A friend of mine painted his engine metallic purple. I think he did it just to annoy me. Oddball engine colours are definitely not a selling feature if you're looking to sell the car though.

NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler New Yorker Town Sedan - $2,500 - ?,Arkansas

Of course someone could have added the TNT air cleaner later. With the fender tag missing there is no way to know for sure without a buildsheet or sales documentation. In 1966 all 440s had VIN 5th digit 'J'. They didn't have the HP exhaust manifolds until 1967, just the usual logs. The engine...

NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler New Yorker Town Sedan - $2,500 - ?,Arkansas

Agreed, but it is a NYer TOWN sedan though. Someone apparently knew just what they wanted when they ordered this. They wanted the top of the line Chrysler, but didn't want a hardtop. Maybe they had bad experiences with wind noise or water intrusion in a previous hardtop. I wish there were...

    NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler 300 2dr Hardtop - C$8,500 - Timmins, Ontario, Canada

I saw this car advertised before. They finally put some decent pictures with it!

    NOT MINE 66 Chrysler 300 2DR Canadian

I have the factory dealer literature and nowhere does it say that combination is not allowed to be ordered. Here is one: That may have been what you meant but it's not what you wrote. :)

    NOT MINE 66 Chrysler 300 2DR Canadian

I spotted this one in 2010 in Toronto. It's the same colour but I'm pretty sure it's not the same car. I believe the owner of the previous car still owned his in 2010, and it was falling into disrepair because he parked it curbside in front of his house.

This Canadian '66 300 2-door hardtop used to be local to me. These pics are from 2000.
