1968 Chryslers - why is there a bulge in fenders above rear wheel opening?

Were the cars you speak of body-worked in the past? I ask because on Slab Chryslers the area above the skirt was notorious for rot out. Odds are if a Slab Chrysler has had body work to address rust, that area has probably been done.

'79 Volaré ignition and door locks - Will it fit?

Door lock cylinders...yes. Ignition cylinder looks like it should work for a non-lilt column.

68 Newport, doing a vinyl wrap. My progress

I am astonished at how good that looks. I am old school and automatically think of the traditional routes (paint). But this looks like an economical alternative since paint work is getting astronomical.

Those things that popped off are to hold the spring tension as part of the removal procedure. You need to put them back. The wiper mechanism hinges at the rivet. Pull the wiper away from the glass, Put a flat blade screwdriver under the tab for the bracket pry up on it (that's why it has...

Before I hurt myself or cause more damage....

That wheel/ guide looks okay. What's wrong with it? As long as it isn't falling off and is free wheeling, you're good. All it does is slide in the track... I'm thinking clean it well and lube up what you've got...unless there's something there I'm not seeing (chunk missing?).

Need Chrysler Emblem for Headlight Cover - 78 YN Brghm

The 76-78 NYB never had gold script on the headlight door. It was chrome. The script in your pic was used throughout the Slab-Fusey-Formal era on trunk lids and rear fill panel- always on the rear. It's about 2.5 inches long. Here's a pic of what was used on the headlight cover. Should be easy...

Hood Scoop for 67 Newport Sedan

Hood scoops and C bodies don't mix, for the most part. I'd leave the hood alone.
