I sympathize...I got my 68 Crown convertible in 2016 too and I'm still collecting parts...I echo your comments that It's great to see Commando1 often again.
I think his comment was not directed at Cordoba 300s but meant in general for the Chrysler Corporation.
In which case, not including 300 Hursts, I think it was 1974...but don't quote me. I know for sure I've seen NOS Formal pinstripes at swap meets.
Great job. Wish I could get those kinds of results, but I`m too impatient and I get runs and crap. But doing it myself keeps my beaters going and my bank account in decent shape.
Beauty work there.
Glad the car got saved. 71 Monaco is one of my favourites and a wagon is unbelievably rare to see now. I think it a pity it is not being taken back to original.
Thanks for the information...I never would have thought to look at lowriders as a source for something like this...but as soon as you mentioned it it made sense. Lowriders are not a "thing" in Winnipeg...the potholes/ road conditions here make it impractical.
Very cool & weird car.
Cool because:
1) Police 2 doors are very rare.
2) Amazing shape and state of complete-ness (I know not a word...but you know what I mean)
Weird because:
1) Why would the police go to all the trouble of getting a 440 Fury I Coupe and not option E86?
2) I think I see HP...
Nice work! However, I would not call this restoration as the wheel covers you show never came with coloured centres. More like customization. Seeing how nice they look, maybe they should have painted them.
