A used car lot trick in the old days to brighten up woodgrain was to soak a rag in used trans fluid or oil a "bingo" woodgrain looks great for weeks (unless it rains, then just repeat). They also sell products to rejuvenate the black plastic on newer cars...same idea. That's what I'd do. But...

There should be a plunger on the tailgate like the other doors to lock the car. It should be next to the door-gate swing latch. Make sure it isn't locked. You can see the plunger to the left of the door gate latch ...mines a 77, but it should be the same.

That's a tall order, especially if you're after a Brougham with the woodgrain.

Sorry I'm late to reply to this...but on Mopars, normally the overflow is bolted on the engine side of the rad support next to the rad on the passenger side.

Hard to tell from what is shown. Everything looks super dry in the door jamb, I'd start with some penetrating lube on the hinges first and look for obstructions. Next I'd roll the glass up and try it that way. The glass must be down to run the gate function, not so for the door function. With...

72 is a "Door-Gate"...so is it in Door or Gate mode?

What headers have I put on my wagon? That's an easy one...none! I don't have any burnt plug wires, or leaks either!

Swing arm as I recall. Should be 2 pins on the skirt to locate it and 2 pins on the car body at rear that go into slots on brackets on the skirt (they are fibreglass on wagons).

Nope. I went through the hassles of leaks, rust and burnt wires in my youth. Since I'm not racing, stock manifolds are just fine for me.
