Well, there had to be a transition between 392s and 413s somewhere along the line. However, I highly doubt it was in large enough numbers for a rumour such as this. By the way I've never heard of this rumour before today. It would have to be fully verified like it was with the onsey twosey 1972...

Sadly all those Exner curves made for a lot of ways to rust on these beauties. Pity.

My Dad had one when he worked at the GM plant. Plant leadership pressed him to trade the car on Pontiac, but the dealer couldn't match the price for an equivalent top of the line Pontiac for the price of the Dodge, so he kept it. That and my Dad's buddy with a brand new Pontiac couldn't catch...

It's a Poly hemispheric ("Poly") V8 mopar. Displacements varied. 318, 354 etc.
