    Which Wheel Covers Are Correct?

Doing a little internet sleuthing W93 15 x 5.5 Blk Road Wheel In the only 15x5.5 wheel in the 72 parts book is a 15 x 5.05 Painted 3621957 which goes along with the 57 in your build section. With this I'd say that is a standard black wheel that is 15 x 5.5 There are no 15x5.5 "Styled Wheel" in...

    Which Wheel Covers Are Correct?

I'm not familiar with the 72 sheets, it appears there are some changes in the layout. The top section "build codes" are part/assembly numbers The lower section "sales codes" are option codes. In the build code section the number you see is the last digits of the part/assembly number. In the...

    Which Wheel Covers Are Correct?

From the parts books, The dog-dish in 72 was 2944-089 (stainless) The dog-dish in 73 was 2944-454 (aluminum) I'm guessing your car is a late build and they switched over to the aluminum dog-dish I think about 72 cars with the dog-dish caps got standard black wheels and not body color ones Alan

    Ride Height?

The front torsion bars can be adjusted to get change the ride height. The Factory Service Manual defines a measurement difference between the lower ball joint and the lower control arm pivot. The specified measurement may not work as the rear may have sagged over the years or has been modified...

Which C Bodies have the steering coupler (rag joint) and why (or why not) ?

I think the earlier ones acted more like a u-joint as the columns were not in alignment with the steering gear. The steering column in the 69s is not parallel to the centerline of the car as viewed from the top. Alan

As long as the front input and outputs are on the same end (typical top). It doesn't matter which side the left and right are on. The fronts need to be together on one end and the rears need to be together on the other end for the safety switch to work. Alan

    Lifting a Convertible

In my opinion your car will flex a lot more just being on the road than it will jacking it from anywhere. The factory didn't address jacking on the convertible any different than the other cars so it was of no concern to them. Move on. Alan
