You could use two 6v batteries in parallel. You’d still have 6v, but you have more storage and cranking power, and it shouldn’t affect the bulbs or radio.

I can’t think of enough superlatives for that car everything is just perfect. The ‘64 is uber cool too.

Those crash pics are something else! I remember watching some of those races on TV (remember Chris Economaki?). They drove with only a roll bar, three point harness, and a helmet. The pack of Luckys rolled up in the shirt sleeve was optional.

I really like the polished headliner bows. Its a classy detail that I wish had continued on through later years. Were they stainless or polished aluminum?
