I think what you're referring to is, get a Hurst shifter mechanism, and they make an inland handle that mounts to it

I assume it isn't a stock original rebuilt replacement. They had a trick mixture screw hiding, that worked In conjunction with the 2 outer screws.

Someone ripped mine out, but I have a bbody hump I'll be adapting to work. Once it's under the console, she gone!

Very good information and advice. 516s aren't bad. 1 set I had on a low comp 440 went 12.20s with just a bigger exh valve. Happily surprised. This was in a somewhat lightened 67 Charger

I have 3 monaco 500s, and a polara 500, all 68s 1 has the 3 spoke wheel, 1 has a 2 spoke with half trim ring, 1 has a 2 spoke no trim ring. The polara has a 2 spoke no ring as well. All Canadian cars.

Does the 440 emblem say four barrel or Magnum?
