Fresh Air Vents behind kick panel

Do you have Auto Temp or manual AC?. My '70 has AC and vents on both sides with manual AC. I remember a discussion about cars with Auto Temp won't have the vent on the passenger side because that is where the electronics are, but I do not know for certain.

    Radiator, recore or replace?

Ditto on the recore if it needs it. Trouble is finding a place that actually does them. The guy I used a few years back retired, but still does them on the side out of a friends shop.

The shrouds are just black plastic. If you were to paint it I would suggest a high heat engine paint in satin or semi gloss.

Coolant coming from fuel pump area, 383

My first guess would be the exhaust manifold stud on that end of the block. They have to be sealed with permatex before being installed since they penetrate the water jacket. Also take a look at the heater line nipples at the top of the water pump, could even be a bad pump that blew the relief...

Besides, all the “professionals” around my area are kids...

    Radiator Recore Cost

@polara71, I just got back from Burton's. How do you like their work? He's calling me with a price, but I'm not going copper. He said that would be about $700 and 5 weeks to get it delivered. I'm looking at $400 to $500 for the 26 inch, in about a week. I plan on starting the engine for the...

    evap condensation removal

This is an example from my 300, it might not be the same, but the idea is there. There are two gaskets actually, one seals the condenser, the other sandwiched between the haves. I’m pointing to the condenser seal. This is the box half that attaches to the firewall, condensation ports are...

Did 1972 Imperials come with a coolant reservoir?

That looks similar to the one I found in the ‘73 Chrysler. There is a discussion here from last year regarding when they started using them.
