It's not horrid, but not great either. Poor fitment towards the rear and poor welds (make sure you prep your metal well when you go to make a patch panel!) are what make me not like it.
Thanks Bob. I have gotten fair at welding. My best form is Oxy-Aluminum (weird, I know). I'm trying my hand...
Here was my attempt on my car. This was before I had any knowledge on welding or fab work. (I was using a horror fright mig). I was proud of it at the time, and it was the best I could do at 14 years old.
With some more time put in and some effort in learning how to weld, you should be able to...
The scoops won't help your idle temp problem at all. If you're going for aesthetics, mock up some cardboard scoops and see what you like. Then make them out of some sheet metal.
All of these cars are like that, and there is no "simple" cure for it. The hood scoop will only make a difference if you are moving. If you tend to idle your car for long periods of time, perhaps consider an aluminum radiator.
None of the above. Run Air intake tubes through the grill and other areas connecting to key cooling spots. For example, you could buy a dual snorkel intake and run tubes from the snorkels to the grill.
What I've found to work for Ziebart is a strong heated pressure washer you can rent. Peels the stuff off very well. It will also strip your paint if you're not careful.
