Advice on a new exhaust system?

Your beat bet is probably to go to a local muffler shop and get a quote for duals using stock mufflers.

    "Cop Shocks"

Thanks. I thought they had probably gone to radials in '74, but I wasn't sure. I just know that "it's the last year before they used a catalytic converter, so it runs great on regular gas." Do you know the meanings of the alphanumeric code? I remember reading somewhere that the letter is the...

    "Cop Shocks"

As long as we're talking about this in terms of The Blues Brothers, would their "cop tires" have been bias or radial? (I say this knowing yours is a '69 and therefore bias is correct.)

    nice car....

Having grown up in that area, that looks to me like a residential house and not a dentist's office. Lots of mid-century modern in PV. Looks a lot like where my best friend grew up. It's not, because it's not up on the hill, but real similar in style. I'm partial to Craftsman-style (I'm...

    Post your 1960's window decals.

My '67 has an "Autotemp" sticker, which would lead me to believe that the "Airtemp" sticker is correct for cars so equipped.

    Post your 1960's window decals.

I'm guessing you're a little older than me, and not just because I haven't switched to easy listening yet. I was really into neither. I was more of a KROQ kind of kid, back before music became homogenous, and every station played the same stuff. I remember Rodney on the ROQ, and the crazy punk...

    Post your 1960's window decals.

Not '60s, 'cause I'm not that old, but this is the sticker I remember from my youth. I don't know if they got out of So Cal, but I used to think they were so cool (even if, as a 9-year-old, I didn't understand it). They were related to a local radio station, KLOS: It's probably not...

    rear frame

I thought 2 and 4 door were the same WB, as well, with only the wagons being different. They were shorter, puzzlingly.

DIY powdercoating w/ a toaster oven?

Toaster oven would be problematic. You want space to hang them freely. There might also be some issue with consistency of temperature in a small space close to a heating element. I like the oven idea

Using vinegar as a derusting agent

The regular vinegar you get in stores (5%) will work fine, it will just take longer. You can also use the other acids mentioned. The advantage of the lower concentrations is that it will be gentler on parts that may have become a bit delicate with corrosion. Stronger solutions should also be...

Ok. Took some pics of skirts, and talked to Dealership Body Man.

Yeah, there's some reverse arch visible there, but they still look better than mine. I have more reverse arch, more rust, and the bands holding the springs together.... don't. I'm not going to Carlisle, so it's rear springs before stereo for me. (Don't tell Commando I'll probably do stereo...

In the picture your car looks white, so it looks a lot like a picture of my car. Same tires, hubcaps, etc. Biggest difference I see is that your rear springs look a lot better than mine.
