Anybody know where to get one or something equal. I would like the tune up specs for a 440. i have Chilton's but the space for the 440 doesn't include timing specs for some reason. I think the timing should be set for 10 - 12 BTDC at idle, and 38 at about 3000 rpms. Is this correct ?

OK thanks. It looks just like what I have, but my plate seems to sit very low. I will have to look into some more I guess.

Thanks, could you take a pic of the plate pulled down. I must be missing something with the bracket then, it looks like yours sits higher then mine.

LOL.. that might help a little. 71 Chrysler 300. It seems pretty straight forward to put the plate on, 2 holes in the bracket and 2 holes in the lower valance but it just seems like the plate sits really low. I can see about 1/2 the gas cap when I mount it, and I don't remember it being that way...

Went to re-install my rear plate and it looks like it sits way to low. With the plate on I can see the top of my gas cap, and I do not remember it being that was before. I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing a part or did it always sit that low and I just never noticed. If somebody could post...

I was wondering people could post some pictures of the from of their 440's show how the fuel line is ran from the pump to the carb. I know the guy ran mine wrong, but just can't remember what it looked like before hand.

Good idea, but it does not work with Edelbrock yet. They are working on making one that will, but nothing yet.

Just wondering, what did it cost to get this done. How did you pick a shop to do this kind of work. I have always liked this style hood, and would not mind doing it.

Looking back and knowing what I know now I would have too. I would have go with the MP intake first, but this is what I have now so i need to work with it.

Here's my issue, and if I could keep the dual snorkel I would. I like that look a lot better. This a Performer RPM and Edelbrock Carb. I did find a drop base but I'm not sure if it's enough, the hood should be going back on today so I'll have a better idea. I'm also hoping I can get a 2" filter...

LOL.. I knew I would catch flak for that, but I wanted to use the air cleaner that matched the cast MP valve covers mostly for looks then anything else. I'll have to double check the clearance again.

I may need to add a scoop to my 71 300 for clearance for the air cleaner. I have a 440 with the Edelbrock RPM intake and Performer carb, when I tried to put the mopar performance air cleaner on it sticks way to high to close the hood. Any ideas for an air cleaner or scoop that would look good...
