    Help with window parts

I don't recall ever seeing that piece on any cars that I've worked on. Is it a 1965? Jeff

    Windshield Differences

Things aren't too bad. The fasttop windshield is worth at least double the std hardtop, so you should be able to sell it and put some cash in your pocket. Jeff

    What is your daily driver?

My current daily is a 1995 Caprice wagon that I bought a few years ago. Jeff

    67 and 68 Monaco dash

All C body dash pads were changed for 1968 due to new safety regulations that went into effect that year. Jeff

    C Body Windshield

Wind can do strange things. You aren't the first one to have this happen. I've seen it a few times where a wind storm was able to overcome the secondary latch and slam the hood into the windshield. Mostly it's been on the slab side cars, but it looks like it could happen to any of them. Jeff

    My new arrival!

Clever Ross, but for fun I'll have to disagree because I've been told that one of Grace Kelly's personal cars was a '64 to '66 Imperial convertible. Many decades ago I sold a set of front brake drums to a guy who claimed that he was restoring the car. Jeff

Fender top turn signals mounting issue! 67 Chrysler 300, What am I missing?

I think this link would make things clearer: https://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar-forum/threads/plastic-insert-resource.44167/ You're missing the plastic insert in the fender. Nobody makes them. Chrysler probably never sold that part separately, it was included with the indicator assembly...

    Interchangeable?

I do know people who are tilt column flippers every time they get out of their car. My old boss was so automatic about it that I don't even think it required any conscious thought to do. Owning four GM vehicles in a row, they all used the same column, so there was no need to change his routine...

    Interchangeable?

Not even close. The Imperial was an old design by '65, with some elements dating back to 1957. The C bodies were totally new and modern in '65. Tilt column isn't worth the trouble in a C body. Look at photos and you will see just about every one is set in the same position as the stock...

    1966 Cowl removal

Once you have the hidden screws out, it's not unusual for the cowl to be stuck on from excess sealer around the windshield gasket. If it's never been off before, it may take some prying to get it to pop loose. Jeff

    1965 fury

I agree, it still is a rare car compared to the number of automatics that they sold. It's main competition in 1965 would be the Impala SS and if you want to compare the number of SS four speeds built vs Sport Fury 4 speeds, you would say quite rare for the Fury. If you flip it the other way...

    1965 fury

Medium. The 1965 Sport Fury seems to be the most common of all 4 speed C bodies. Jeff

    1968 Chrysler New Yorker purchase

It's funny how many standard 440 cars we have seen over the years advertised as "TNT's" and here's a real TNT car that had absolutely no mention of it in the add. Jeff

    1968 Chrysler New Yorker purchase

That's great news! Not trying to be negative in any way, but it would have been even cooler if you owned the black and white one at the same time. That would be a sharp pair! Jeff

    "SHOW CAR" Build Sheet

Show car finish must have been above and beyond buffed paint option. There's a separate box for show car finish and it looks like there are two levels, both A and B. Interesting that it's not filled in on the OP's build sheet. I know that I've seen "Show Car Finish" printed on build sheets...

    "SHOW CAR" Build Sheet

Your build sheet is missing a word. That word is "FINISH". It was probably printed as: SHOW CAR ............................................ FINISH and the FINISH is printed on the top of the next page below it. There was an option called "Show car finish", which means they buffed...
