    Well.. as it turns out.. I had another electrical issue yesterday so i decided to dive in on the heating issue as well since car was in garage semi disabled. Figured i would pull out the thermostat and test it. I removed the housing and low and behold... no thermostat (wtf!!!) I replaced it...

    Second question... the dash lights behind the gear position buttons went out the other night... how easy to replace the bulb/s behind?

    Update. Both heater hose lines are not really hot going into the heater core. I may have to put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator. The solid fan is just pulling too much air and the Nov temps around here have been silly cold for time of year.

    Question for you folks.... Is the HCV linked to the temperature sensor/gauge for a 1963 Non A/C New Yorker? I am not getting enough heat out of the vents even after radiator and motor are completely warmed to thermostat temps. My temperature gauge does not work and constantly registers...
