Real Michigan Barnfind - Beautiful 1960 New Yorker - Low Miles - Loaded - Solid

I would not have thought that. Learned something new today! Thank you! Admittedly, upon looking at it a second time, the heel pad looks very period-correct.

Real Michigan Barnfind - Beautiful 1960 New Yorker - Low Miles - Loaded - Solid

That looks like shag carpeting to me, not original to the car. If the carpet has been replaced at times (late 60's/early 70's) it would kinda contradict the seller's 13 k miles claim.

Nice 1958 Desoto Fireflite Coupe for Sale in Hemmings

Steve, you pinpointed it. I guess there was a colorful variety of patterns and materials to choose from. This article about the 1959 and 1960 DeSoto Adventurer is probably from Collectible Automobile originally, so I guess it is well researched. They write, "To simulate grained leather, the coupe's...

    Chrysler 300F Special GT?

Chrysler engineer Bob Rodger mentions the Special package (including the 4 speed manual transmission) in this 1959 or 1960 promotional video for the Chrysler 300F, beginning at 16:59.

When Do You Think The Self-Driving Car Concept Started, And With What Car?

I didn't know the car nor the man! It's fascinating because it is very advanced for its time. It somewhat reminds me of the imagination behind such drawings:

    Today's FCBO "What the...?"

I thought that Dodges were only named differently in Canada at that time, I did not know they were exactly these hybrids, too. I really wonder what made Chrysler executives have it that way back then.

    Today's FCBO "What the...?"

By the way, the "Plodge" was actually called Dodge Kingsway.
