Parked beside the ocean, on a moonlight drive in a 1968 Chrysler 300

It has a similar atmosphere as the 1968 catalog theme.

    1965 Autronic Eye

GM was the first to come out with them in 1952 I think for Oldsmobile and Cadillac, they were called Autronic Eye. They were not that sophisticated as the later ones in the 60s from what I read.

Question about 1967 Plymouth Fury popularity

The 67 with a 68 rear end would be almost ideal.I like the full denture grille of the 67 better than the 68 with that lower Color coordinated insert. Just vice versa to the 67 and 68 Imperials where I prefer the latter.

    Back to bias plys!

I use them eversince my first old car bought at 18 when they came from that certain era. Mostly in use with lighter European cars my perception there is similar with two exceptions, ride quality is quieter and softer than with radials this was also the general judgement in comparisons back then...

Dash mounted rear view mirror '66 Monaco.

Something looked odd on that wagon interior, couldn't make it out myself. Makes definitely more sense than the third seat theory where the suspended mirror makes actually more sense than a dash Mount.

Dash mounted rear view mirror '66 Monaco.

It seems at least by looking at the previous years brochure that this application was used when the third row back seat was ordered from the factory. Seems I can't find this for 1966 cars, so maybe early production / pre production Version.

    daughter's 66 Polara survivor

Not to turn your daughter away from the Mopar camp, but she should actually own this car. :D Isabella had some popularity as a girl's Name in the 50s and early 60s over in Germany.

    Rare combinations?

Pretty hacked up from engine to fuel cell, I'd be surprised if there isn't a good amount of bondo bodywork included. At least in Europe such engine downgrades were popular during the gas crisis in the early 70s, sometimes even with European 4 cyl. engines of about 60-70 hp in such a Full Size car.
