What's the difference in results to use putty instead of bondo apart from needing no activator ? Never used These products.

I bought a car once in 2007 that still had two of the original 1971 high Speed tires on. I drove it home, but passed on trying out if they still were capable of doing 130 mph. I think they would have been good for 100 k miles with that hard rubber. ;)

I'd try to have it repainted in single stage however personally, I think Stan's NYB had it done this way, so it should still be available.

This paint is too far gone IMHO. Non existing paint, primer, Surface rust has nothing to do with original paint in a true sense. If it's gone it's gone.
