For Sale 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible T-code 440 Engine Largely Complete, with 727 Trans

If you do an oil pressure test and a leakdown test those would both be good indicators of the engine's health, and for whether it needs a machine-shop rebuild or just a cleanup and re-gasketing. Being able to provide such info is a good selling tool on a yanked engine. Just MHO.

    SOLD Disc brakes

Is the casting# teh same between 69-72 and the 73-only? They are the same spindles in fitment with the exception of the machining for the inner bearing and seal, the 73 has a larger journals. So the machining would change the part#, but not the casting# (if they are indeed the same casting). I...

    For Sale rebuilt '77 440

No. The damper bolt does not need to come out to get the pulleys off. Don't need a puller either. Take off the 6 bolts, give the pulley some wiggling and pull it off. If it's been on there awhile, might need to pop it a few times with a small deadblow hammer.

For Sale 1970’s Dodge Van 360-4bbl Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner

I'm thinking that is from a van, motorhome or ambulance. Something with the engine under the removable cover.

For Sale 1970’s Dodge Van 360-4bbl Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner

Yes, that's an oddball piece, to allow to put a 4-barrel under a 318-2-barrel-size filter housing. Might almost be worth more if it was single snorkel - perfect for a 408 sleeper car!

    For Sale 1969 Plymouth 440 Super Commando w/ 727 - $3,000 (Valrico)

The C-bodies never got hte 335hp engine that was in the B-bodies. 330hp only, and I believe it did not get the 'Magnum/Super Commando' cam. I believe the B-bodies with AC then got teh equivalent of the C-body engine with the tamer cam. But from what I've read over the years that's a whole...

    For Sale 543 short block

I've never seen a block get those 2 bosses ground like that, and leaving the threads visible was kinda odd if it was for appearances. That story does make sense, then.

    For Sale 1969 Plymouth 440 Super Commando w/ 727 - $3,000 (Valrico)

Are you saying that a 69 civvy C-body would be turq, but a copcar version of the same car would would be orange? I don't know teh colors all that well. My brain is also telling me that pictures I've seen the C-body Dodge 440hp would be orange, while Fury/Chrysler would be turquoise?

    For Sale 543 short block

It's not related to the sale or a criticism thereof, but FWIW: Grinding down these 2 bosses prevents this block from installing in a 65 C-body or a late-60s A-body, or using the late 70s PS pump mounting. Would've been better to leave them. Maybe it's just hte picture/lighting, but this...

    For Sale 1969 Plymouth 440 Super Commando w/ 727 - $3,000 (Valrico)

Some guys think 'never been apart' means the pistons have never been out. Agreed with Furious70, maybe $3000 if it was 100% complete. Guys wanting an authentic engine will want it with the HTF carb, aircleaner and dizzy. Missing PS pump and brackets, and all the KD linkage stuff is gone (and...

Yes, for V8 applications, a 6cyl Z-bar is longer in the RH of the picture.

    SOLD 1964/1964 4 speed transmission

FWIW, that's not a C-body Z-bar. Look on Brewers website, they should have a bunch of pics you could try to match it to. The narrow tube and long throws make me think it's from a truck, but that's just a hunch.

SOLD Cbody spindles /LCA & UCA

The method I gave is valid, however I looked at your pics again - The swaybar mounting bracket (red) is not correct for a 65-73 LCA. It could've been a FirmFeel bracket added on (like I've done on my car) but the blue circle did not come with my FF parts. The LCAs I have show a plate near the...

SOLD Cbody spindles /LCA & UCA

Correct, there are no numbers. Measure spindle dia where the inner bearing goes, and make sure both spindles match (DAMHIK!) Measure the dia where the seal rides. Look up on a parts site and find what the inner bearings are for the early and late spindles, and see if there are measurements...

SOLD Cbody spindles /LCA & UCA

71-73 is not sufficient info, as late 72-73 used a larger inner bearing, different seals and rotors also. Early rotors used to be really expensive, 73 were much cheaper, so 73 spindles pulled more $$. Regardless, your buyer will want to know which they are so he/she can buy the correct parts.
