A small update, I got a new Offenhauser intake and a Super Bee 3.23 (489 #9 case) rear differential. The Holley carb that was on the car when I got it fits the Offy, so I will try this combo out while rebuilding the original Carter. I have new tires ready to swap on, but I'll take a double rear...

Yes, but the New Yorker has the same red crown motif across the back and the "correct" covers don't match anything on the car. Plus these are beyond flawless. Old stock from a Chrysler dealer. If I take it to a carwash, paint is going to flake off more. It's down to bare metal in some spots and needs a paint job. I'm not personally a fan of clearcoat over patina, but I'll put something nice on it whether it is the factory turquoise or a black or something. I'm not planning to do...

Chrysler dropped them because of cracking issues, they remade them with different housings and red lenses. Intact clear lenses are awesome, I'm going to post a thread about my 65, also has the clear tails. Love them
