    Not being a dick, just my honest opinion, but count me out. Watching the destruction of these in one form or another is like pullin teeth. I know she's yours and it's your right as the owner, but why couldn't it be a Lincoln Continental?

    Glad to see it, honestly, it's easy to lose hope when you see some of the young minds today and what their "interests" are...A kid like him, he's gonna have a home here as long as he wants that car (or some reasonable facsimile of).     Could not have said that better myself. Do NOT go hacking that car up. That thing is gorgeous, rare and looks to be in great condition. Anything else would be a disservice in my craphole opinion.

    Right there with ya. The tapered axles were definitely fun to deal with. I ended up repacking the bearings, redoing the drum brakes and the smartest decision of all, getting rid of the pressed-on hub to drum setup. Makes it a hell of a lot easier to work on. Me thinks you're going to enjoy that...
