Could not have said that better myself. Do NOT go hacking that car up. That thing is gorgeous, rare and looks to be in great condition. Anything else would be a disservice in my craphole opinion.

Right there with ya. The tapered axles were definitely fun to deal with. I ended up repacking the bearings, redoing the drum brakes and the smartest decision of all, getting rid of the pressed-on hub to drum setup. Makes it a hell of a lot easier to work on. Me thinks you're going to enjoy that...
