Very nice Sport Fury fast top. I also like the Torque Thrust wheels on it. Classic old school look.

1968 Chrysler 300 Ignition Switch Lamp Location

My ‘68 Fury III has this bezel that surrounds the ignition and the light mounts above that. You can see the opening at 12 o’clock. Did you remove that big ashtray in the middle and look in that way?

    Factory 4 speed shifter help!

Hurst is the way to go. However if you want to keep the stock Inland "guess a gear" shifter, I believe there is a kit to convert the "guts" of the Inland shifter to Hurst. Can any of the 4 speed guys out there confirm this? I remember reading about this a few years ago. Being I'm a column...

    Mixing brands?

It's your money, buy what you would like to own & drive. I agree with your choices, they are desirable cars, especially the 427 Biscayne. I have a soft spot for some Pontiacs, Chevys, Cadillacs, Mercurys and AMCs. They all have unique characteristics, are fun to drive and recall memories of...

trunk mounted luggage rack - haven't seen one on a slab yet

That luggage rack actually looks too small for that massive deck lid. Like Cbody67 said previously, those trunks were huge, who needed a luggage rack.

    Help No electrical power

Being you just changed the battery, start there & work your way through the system. Sometimes battery terminals look ok but they’re not, especially if they have the repair terminals on the ends of the cable. Good luck.

    Molded carpet

I do believe the front and rear floors are the same for sedans and wagons. The difference would be from behind the rear seat to the back of the car.

    No work

There is nothing wrong with getting a little dirty or sweaty. You do whatever it takes to provide for your family. I've been blessed even though it's not always easy. God willing I can call it a career in another 5 or 6 years.
