    Hey that’s a fantastic job you did here on your console and I’m going to try the same thing as you did although I would sure like to know how you sand blocked it without roughing up the chrome trims on each edge and tight sanding to the edges as well ? Plus what is the flex seal you put on it...

    That is a real beauty and a guy in Gibbons Alberta has a maroon one for sale in real nice shape and I believe he installed an eddy on his!.... I will probably do the same with my 67 Monaco 500 once I find all the body parts I need to restore it from rust..eg I need the wide anodized aluminum...

    Rear Window Motors...source?

    Anyone out there have any 67/68 Monaco 500’s parts? I really need those outside wide anodized aluminum moldings that go fro t to back and wrap around the wheel wells etc I also need to take the back window out to repair rust and if successful where do I get a new rubber gasket??

    I’ve had problems getting parts from vendors as well due to some service manuals not offering part numbers and they don’t have the capability or are too lazy to look up the parts in their systems.... they want you to buy a parts catalog

    yes I sure wished there were better window motors out there that didn’t have those lousy plastic gears or lobes as on the fords n Lincolns that disintegrate!! Also some more powerful and faster motors would help too for those ole 60’s n 70’s motors

    I can’t seem to find the wide anodized aluminum trims and rear windshield rubber gasket to restore my 67 Monaco 500 so I’m thinking of buying this 68 Chrysler 300 instead and it runs like a top with new electronic ignition and edelbrock carb and was repainted 20 years ago. He wants $12000.00

    Well I bought a new windshield for my 67 Monaco 500 restoration and hope it doesn’t leak when I finally get installed! I will find your experience and tips helpful now and will be vigilant in sealant with the installer..... my worries are with the back window as I can’t find a new or good used...

That’s quite the story you have rebuilding it and mine is still in the early stages to glory with a similar color wanted but the body work is an expensive venture here in Alberta Canada. I see...
