open the rad and run the water hose thru it.
unhook the top and bottom rad hoses from the block and run the water hose thru it.
button it all back up.
fill it with 50/50 radiator juice and water.
crack 1 raw egg and put it in.
get 5 packets of pepper from whatabruger and open them and pour...
original shroud + hayden fan clutch + derale fixed fan and whatever radiator.
cold case dual fan setup was NOT enough to cool a mild 440.
electric fans are not worth doing. as a person who did it, and reverted back to OEM. im telling you this.
the cooling is marginal at idle. the electric...
I fought for a year overheating on a new rebuild 440. The only thing that has given me a chance is a hayden clutch and derale 18" no-flex fan and going back to OEM shroud. Also milodon 160* hi flow thermostat. cold case electric fans were not enough and the electric demand to run any electric...
30 = 5A fused power from BATT + (better fuse it with that inline fuse!)
85 = GND
86 = from (P)ump at oil pressure kill switch.
87 = power run to fuel pump
ok we got to dissect this bit by bit. its easy if we just go item by item.
you already have your red wire going to an inline fuse holder so...
it looks like I made ends out of terminal chingaderas myself - so if you do this - you can end up with reverse fan rotation / reverse polarity. change your wires to the other pin if so.
if its not too late, take it all back and get a clutch and fan and shroud.
if it is too late, I was just helping another guy with this - electric fuel pump and oil pressure kill switch
on that page is how to run a relay.

T. Just Got Done Tossing an Electric Fan...
back over on the bench, I added a T so I can plumb in a transmission temp gauge
ere are both adapto ends I made. the silver ended one goes to main rad fitting and 1 of the new cooler hoses - its 5/8 wrench.
the gold ended line with the brass T - 9/16 wrench. this will go from the removed...
cooler just laying loose up in front of the main rad - just seeing how it fits
imma cinch it down with one of the plastic zip tie thingys that come with it. I put the foam pads on, and it fits perfectly snugly between the main rad and a metal lip on the front firewall.
still plenty of room for...
so they hayden kit came with a length of rubber hose, and notice it has barb fittings on its ends. but the hose was not long enough to get where I need to get to, and I didnt want 1 rubber line and 1 hard line so I just cut the hose in half and put either half on the fittings and ran them over...
it looks like I got this
sandy claus brought it to me
and you will need some of this
back on the back aisle behind the counter at vatozone they have brake line and fittings and ends. I got a 60" piece of line and compression niblets for like 12 bucks.
I happen to be putin in a hayden one now. I should have it connected up tomorrow hopefully I went and got some piece brake line today to bend up for it.

when making the holes to attach the electric fan shroud, make sure the shroud is square on the rad and doesn't move on you while drilling. . .I almost drilled into the side of the radiator.

IMO - it should find its level and then be OK forever. if you keep filling it up it will keep puking.
try it - let it find its level, drive around like that, check it - if no leaks, call it good.
