Thank you guys. I requested a video of the car running before I decide to pull the trigger. I haven't received that yet so we'll see. My goal was to have a cheap (rough) cruiser to have some fun in. We'll see if the video gets sent.

Thank you, that's what I was thinking as well. Not that having glasses fuses are necessarily a bad thing but, the style fuse setup is a little better. The reason why I dug up this thread is because if I have a trade offer for a later C-Body.

Thank you all I wasn't sure but, I'd figure I'd ask. I do know that Chrysler in '79 did update the system on the B-Bodies or may have updated the system again in '79 and not sure about '78 though.

I wanted to visit this question again. From the sources I can find it looks like the glass type fuses were used up until the last formals. My Cordoba uses these types of fuses and not sure about the 78 models...

The Cordoba and Magnum were B-Bodies. There was a Magnum on CL a while back that had a 78/79 Cordoba front clip on it. If you want to hear something more crazy, I can swap some of the 71-74 B-Body gauges into my car like the 150 mph speedometer. Also, the front shocks are the same as a 73...

I was under the dash of my '79 Cordoba a while back and noticed my fuse block has the blade style fuses as opposed to the older glass type. I'm just curious if Chrysler ever used a blade type fuses on the last these style of the Formal C Bodies on the '78 models or did they use the glass type...
