All 79 300's were manual seat only. Because they came with dual exhaust with catalytic converters, there wasn't room to mount power seat hardware. body had to make allowance for the converters underneath body where ps hardware would have been. My take, I wonder if the ink is dry yet on the...

This is not a real 79 300. all 79 300's were built consecutively at 2 factories and were ALL hardtops! There were 7 Red300's built, all for Canada export. All 3800 or so had red interiors, including the 7 red hardtops. And i'm sure no "hoodscoops" Let's see a copy of the buikd sheet!
