Max wedge vs HP manifolds vs Headers Test!!

I would have like to seen the difference in air fuel ratio at WOT between them. Kevin

Once again, headers needed for a Fusey

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. You said yourself it's not a race car. Whatever power that S might cost will never be felt by you in the real world, assuming there is any cost.. Just look at Dave Dudek's F.A.S.T. Roadrunner. Runs 9's through manifolds and a stock appearing exhaust system...

Once again, headers needed for a Fusey

Not ideal I realize but in order for the tubes to clear the torsion bars and put the collector straight on to the relief in the crossmember, the header winds up with less ground clearance. I've never heard any complaints about lack of ground clearance with Tti headers. I suspect their 3"...

Once again, headers needed for a Fusey

Which is a Cbody chassis is it not? Tti's listing shows from 65-73. https://www.ttiexhaust.com/TTiC6573-440178.htm There are fitment concerns and solutions listed in the footnotes so check those carefully to see if any apply. A friend of mine has their complete system from headers to the...

Heat Riser - Free or Keep Frozen?

^^^^^^ This. Unless you are looking to wring the last horsepower out of it, a functioning valve and crossover is actually good for fuel mileage. Kevin

    Thicker flange gaskets?

What's the difference? Hi temp RTV between them and stack up as many as it takes or fix the flange. Kevin

    Tailpipes.....

I've always been in the 2.5" front to back or don't bother camp for any stock/mild combo. When the tailpipe tips are bent and cut properly 2.5" just looks better to me and 2.5" sound better, the bigger pipe takes out that raspy frequency. Zero back pressure being a bad thing is a wive's tale...

    TTI small block exhaust

Just order their Cbody with headers system and have an exhaust shop make you the head pipes to the manifolds. B body headers might/should fit with some tweaking as big block ones can be made to fit. Kevin

What''s the going rate for dual exhaust

I wouldn't use less than 2.5" pipes. The difference in material price between the 2 isn't worth worrying about and they look and sound better in my opinion. Don't use any "turbo" type muffler unless you like drone at light throttle cruise. They all do it. Kevin

Exhaust for 74 Fury Gran Sedan

Does anybody know what is different between the 73 chassis and the 74? If the floor pans are basically the same but the routing from the manifolds is different, a Tti headers back system would get you 90% of what you need in bolt on condition and all you would need fabbed are the head pipes...

    An exhausting subject..

Do you get any drone from those turbo mufflers? I had the generic ones on my 493 and anything much under about 2500 rpm it drove me nuts. I've got a set of the non turbo Magnaflows for whatever I put it in next. Kevin

    Exhaust exit advice

These pics suck but I used to have 2.5" turned down at the bumper. Now I have 2.5" A/B-body type tips now. (Hard to see) Stan will not approve... Kevin
