also, what is this electrical piece that goes into the square slot housing down in the coloumn. It has a piece of broken plastic attached to it. That's how I pulled it out and looks like. I noticed it goes under the ignition tumbler and kinda rides it (touching it) some kind of electrical piece?

I finally got the ignition tumbler out. It is jammed and will not turn with key in it. Is there some way to see if its the wrong key? Previous owner says it is but who knows. Tried all the keys. Also, the round headed key don't open the trunk. If not there are plenty of them for sale on E-bay...

I believe this it the holy grail you have uncovered here my friend. I have read it and I think the turn signal lever is my issue why I cant get the turn signal cams out. I am going to try it this weekend and let you know how it works. Thank You. Wizard

Yeah, the turn signal does unscrew but I never went as far as torning it completly off. Maybe I ought to try that. It also has the wires inside it so it may twist those off while I am doing this. Someone else mentioned this on this post somewhere else I have it posted on another site. A or b...
