    Epic Whoops thread.

I flew in a DC-10 and 727 testbed that our own pilots flew. More than once we had double or triple bounce landings and several times either the ceiling panels and/or the face masks dropped. the pilots were all retired Air Force or Navy pilots. They all thought that they were flying highly...

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler Newport 2dr - $3,500 (York) PA

its only a state away so my guys could go get it easily relatively nominally (diesel plus lunch). Were I in the game, that would be in its favor of course. Two or more states away? Not a chance I'd give it another look (probably couldnt get it at the "right" price TO ME). Still, hope it...

    1966 IMPERIAL | WINDOW MOTORS

I found some images of what the motor in my 66 looks like (See below). It appears to be a little different than the one that came out of your 70. Mine appears to be sealed at the bottom. Do you know how would I access the internals in mine? I found this video on YouTube of a similar-looking...

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler Newport 2dr - $3,500 (York) PA

Even my decrepit a** :) is more where @71Polara383 & @Big_John are as to saveability. Unless this one after you get into it, you start finding other stuff (e.g., if the water in the driver floor is NOT coming from where we think?). I aint a player here at any price, but this one...

FINAL Update- Yesterday was the last day of my stepdads 27 ownership of his beige 1973 Custom Suburban wagon. My stepdad received a check from the new caretaker yesterday, and the shipper also came yesterday to pick up the car. I for one am sad to see it go, but it makes me feel good that my...

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler Newport 2dr - $3,500 (York) PA

Definitely savable. In fact, I think I could make a pretty good argument for fixing what's there with some fresh steel. The torsion bar section forward doesn't look too bad and really that's just the body mount. Of course, the right way would be to replace the stub frame.

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler Newport 2dr - $3,500 (York) PA

Sure it can be saved. Assuming the stub is the worst of the rust, and you are willing. Sub replacement isn't too difficult, just time and space consuming. Looks like the rear window may be leaking too. If I were after it, I would source a stub frame and plan the swap. Regasket/paint the...
