Aloha all, Probably a very elementary question here, but I put on a new speedo cable and ever since I’m leaking transmission fluid. I’m wondering if I put the shaft seal in the wrong direction. Does anyone know which direction it should face? Can’t tell which way to orient the smooth side...

My speedo cable finally gave up the ghost so I’m needing a new one. I keep finding conflicting OEM part #’s for it so I can’t decide where to find the correct cable. It’s a 65 without the auto-pilot. Anyone know where I could get one? Thx Kona
