or the sake of preservation I am offering some paperwork that would have accompanied the sale of a 1955 Dodge.
You get a a sales receipt from Mackenzie Motors in New Hampshire, dated 9/8/55 where a Mr. Robert S. Carter trades a 1951 Dodge Meadowbrook (worth 800 bucks, ~7,500 in 2020 dollars) and 235.35 cash (an oddly specific amount, about 2300 in today's money) toward a V8 Custom Royal for a grand total of 3095.35 (~30000 in 2020 dollars) You also get the installment contract from Sawmut Bank of Boston ( 36 payments at 74.61-$725 in 2020 dollars), the first statement from the bank, a quick start guide for the 1955 Dodge and the radio owners manual in a paper sleeve.
If you own a 1955 Dodge Custom Royal Sedan, have a connection to the bank, or the dealership, you are welcome to them. Just DM your address and I'll send them along. First come first served.
