1966 dodge polara 4 door sedan.
all original one owner car from northwestern Montana. super solid no rot anywhere on car. uniquely optioned car
383 big block 3 speed manual on the tree manual brakes power steering with radio delete 8 3/4 posi rear 15 inch factory wheels. has dealer added block heater and trans heater installed for colder climate weather. original documentation includes owners manual with dealer information certicard have all registrations since new all three broadcast sheets found in car. car was delivered in mid January of 1966 car seems to have been ordered by owner also found in the car were some personal effects from original owner. car shows just over 63000 and I believe them to be original.
car is complete minus a carburetor and the interior was stripped mice had gotten into the car but all pieces are in the trunk. car is currently not running engine is stuck. fuel thank is also out of the car. all chrome is in great shape.
very cool vintage mopar with some unique options and history could be a very neat project

1966 DODGE POLARA SEDAN. ROCK SOLID ONE OWNER WESTERN MONTANA CAR. VEHICLE FEATURES A 383 BIG BLOCK V-8 ENGINE, AND A VERY RARE 3 SPEED ON THE COLUMN MANUAL TRANSMISSION. HERE IS A BREAKDOWN ON SPECIFIC VEHICLE COMPONENTS.

BODY- EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN BODY. ROCK SOLID FLOORS AND TRUNK FLOOR. VERY, VERY STRAIGHT. THE ONLY DENTS ARE ON THE DRIVERS DOOR DOWN LOW ( AS SEEN IN PHOTOS) AND ANOTHER SMALL DING ON THE READ DOOR BOTTOM. PAINT IS ORIGINAL, BUT IS STARTING TO WEAR THIN ON THE TOPS OF THE DOORS, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS GREAT PATINA. NO RUST THROUGH ANYWHERE THAT I CAN SEE. THE PAINT ON THE TOP OF THE CAR LOOKS LIKE IT GOT THIN, AND SOMEBODY DID A QUICK ATTEMPT AT REPAINTING IT BUT IT IS A POOR JOB. REAL EASY FIX, BECAUSE THERE IS NO DAMAGE. I KINDA WONDER IF IT HAD A VINYL TOP AT SOME TIME.??? THE PATINA ON THE CAR IS ONE OF THE REASONS I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT.

INTERIOR- I WOULD CONSIDER IT TO BE A USABLE INTERIOR, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE HEADLINER WHICH IS HANGING WHERE THE SEAM CAME APART RIGHT ABOVE THE FRONT SEAT. NEW HEADLINER WAS $200 DOOR PANELS ARE IN PRETTY GOOD CONDITION OVERALL. DASH PAD HAS A FEW CRACKS ON TOP, BUT OK OVERALL. SEATS ARE COMPLETE, BUT WEARING THIN IN A FEW SPOTS.

ENGINE- WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE THE ENGINE WAS LOCKED UP. I WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO MOVE A LITTLE WITH RUST PENETRANT INTO THE CYLINDERS. IT IS VERY COMPLETE, ONLY MISSING THE COVER TO THE POWER STEERING PUMP AND ORIGINAL CARB. I WILL INCLUDE A 4 BBL INTAKE MANIFOLD AND CARTER THERMOCARB CARB WITH THE VEHICLE.

TRANS- THE TRANS SEEMS TO SHIFT SMOOTHLY WITH NO BINDING. CLUTCH FEELS VERY TIGHT WITH VERY GOOD PEDAL.

REAR DIFF IS A 8 3/4, NO KNOWN IF IT IS A POSI OR NOT.

CHROME AND STAINLESS IS EXCELLENT IN MY OPINION.

ORIGINAL CERTICARD ALONG WITH OWNERS MANUAL ARE PRESENT.

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL RADIO DELETE CAR

I BOUGHT THIS CAR BECAUSE OF THE RARE ENGINE AND TRANS COMBO AND THE CONDITION OF THE BODY AND CHROME. I INTENDED ON DOING A BASIC RERING AND BEARING REPLACEMENT AND JUST LEAVING EVERYTHING ELSE ORIGINAL. WOULD MAKE A GREAT PERIOD CORRECT POLICE CAR, WITH THE ADDITION OF WHITE FRONT DOORS AND A BUBBLE ON TOP. CAN YOU SAY 1 ADAM 12??????
 
Ironically, both sellers clearly describe how they bought the car, yet it's still a 1-owner.
If I bought it, would I call it a 2-owner, or 4, or what???
