Highlights of my 1965 Imperial Crown
Original mileage @125K. Runs great and trans shifts great.
Converted to dual master cylinder in 2022 and brakes bled and adjusted.
Dual exhaust installed with turbo II mufflers. Deep rumble but not load.
New tank and sending unit in June 2023
New tires, alignment, coolant flush in 2021.
New battery in 2020.
All but the rr window work including power vent windows. Power antenna and AC do not work. The original AM/FM radio still works and does the automatic headlight dimmer on the dash.
I bought this car 22 years ago and replaced the front clip, lower quarters and dog legs. It’s painted with PPG basecoat/clearcoat paint in gm code WA9885 Black Rose Metallic which is the closest to the original color in BC/CC form. The bumpers, grilles, and most all the chrome on the car has been replated. The color combination is rarely rare as I have seen a hand full this color and only one other in the color combo. I do have the original certicard and the broadcast sheet for the car along with service manual and owner’s manual. I also have a large amount of spare parts to go with the car if wanted including a complete frontt bumper assembly and every wire harness for the car.
