Came across this auction site, a sort of BAT on the cheap ? and this is for sale in Alabama. Loads of pics and a walkround. Thought it may be of interest to somebody....

Font on that FT looks different than on my 65, and there is also outward stretching around each of the car's options stampings.

There are no holes on the fenderwell where they tag should be, so maybe it's some special factory exception?

Car got bid to $10,300.
Listing says "A critical and somewhat harsh review of this fine vehicle was performed by an independent Inspector. He was a bit tough, especially on such an original car, but hey, that’s his job."

WH2 seems to be W = white roof, H = copper metallic (Plymouth only) 2 = ???
The A19 SO corresponds to Oct 19, 1964.
So maybe that explains the location and fonts on the FT.

Some of that 'tough' review is boiled down comparing it to a show car or perhaps other brands of car that have more 'quality' in them (like the panel alignment).
While the alignment isn't perfect, I don't think it is terrible for a 'normal' restoration.

Ironic that the inspector noted that the PW switch was hanging, but didn't notice it was an aftermarket GM switch that didn't match the others.

Interestign that the firewall was evidently painted (the pushpins for the firewall insulation behind the dash were painted over, but the PW wiring and shield weren't.

It looks like a decent car that would be made better by some polishing of details (new carpet, paint the dashboard, underhood painting, etc).
The $10,300 final bid was probably fair for both buyer and seller.
