1966 Chrysler 300 440 Engine with A/C: Can one remove the valve cover from the right side without unhooking all of the A/C lines? Thanks!

Yes, should be possible. The smaller-diameter metal lines are following the rh side of the engine compartment on the fender as the only "big line" comes from the compressor to the rh area of the cowl where the heater water valve and a/c system valving is. That is the only line anywhere close to the valve cover. Should be plenty of room, even on the taller 440.

Is the system a factory unit installed at the factory? Download the Factory Service Manual from www.mymopar.com . Might have to put that web address into your browser manually. Check what you have versus what is in the manual.

The A/C unit was installed at the factory. There is one large line than has a metal canister in the large pipe over the valve cover. Perhaps I can raise it up. Thanks!

Unless the hose has sagged, some movement of it is possible. Usually, not too much would be needed.
