Hardly perfect and some rust, but could be a good driver project.

I have had this car for many years. I got it from My grandfather and it wa a daily driver then. I have been working to restore it to driving condition for the last few years but have no room and it has to go.Good things. I just did the brakes and had the motor gone through. All is good and even the air conditioning was working when I last drove it a year ago. All trim is in great condition with no rust and all chrome is beautiful.Bad things. The gas tank needs to be dropped and steamed or replaced, the carb needs to be rebuilt, it needs tires and a battery.tranny slips a bit but may just need new fluid. the interior is black and is about a 5 out of 10. all power locks and windows work even though they are a bit slow from no use. The drivers door panel is in the trunk and had been removed while i was replacing the switches. its all there. the only thing that is missing from the car is the air cleaner canister. Not sure why but it is never been on the car sense I got it 10 years ago.

Sold for $2500. Interesting. Makes me feel like mine was well-bought. Cracked dash and interior, disassembled, even if it's all there. It was just up the road from me in Cardiff, too.

Seems like a good car for the money. Wonder what he/she meant by "air cleaner canister"? Is that an AC part? Surely the seller didn't meant the air filter assembly, that they were tooling around with it for 10 years with no air cleaner?
